REAL is a ministry of Christ Church Chorleywood for anyone aged 11 - 14. We believe that Jesus is more than just a character in an ancient book. We believe that he is real, that he loves us, and he wants to give us life in all it's fullness. Real events are there to give God space to show young people he is real and that he loves them.

DOORS OPEN - 1PM
Come in and get yourself registered. We welcome everybody in our main venue, so if you are coming on your own we'll make sure you have a chance to meet some people.
All of our different venues will be open and offering lots of different options for you. Check out the Creation Zone to design your own t-shirt line and become the next Ralph Lauren. Head to the sports zone to prove you're the next Christiano Ronaldo. Want to smash all your friends at FIFA? You can do that in our Game Venue.
Tuesday - We'll be heading the common for our Water Tournament. A competition with a ton of games including an insane amount of slip 'n' slides and an 85ft bouncy castle.
Wednesday - Wednesday we've got a brand new event for you .
Thursday - Thursday is absolute carnage, one of our favourite events. It's a team based competition lead by Jonah and Henry.
Friday - We finish big on Friday with two great events for you. For the first, we've rented out 100 laser guns for our very own REAL Battle Royal across the common. For the second, grab your dry powder paint and join us as we unleash a rainbow of colours in Colour Chaos. You won't want to miss this one!
Each day our resident professional chef will be cooking us up some dinner in our REAL Diner. You don't need to bring any extra money for this, it's all included in the ticket price.
In our main venue we'll have live music, amazing games, and some of our leaders will be sharing some things they've learnt about some of the key challenges we face being teenagers today.
Are you a Christian? Or interested in what being a Christian means? We'll carry on in the main venue with some Christian worship and look a bit deeper at the what Bible says.
DAY ENDS - 8PM
We believe that Jesus is real and we aim to provide a space to allow Him to show others that he is real. We want to give Jesus space to meet with and work in the lives of young people.
We want REAL to display the character of Jesus to everyone it touches.
We want our events to be dynamic, never being afraid to pull off big and creative ideas that leave lasting memories.
We aim to be authentic and transparent by being honest and open about who we are and what REAL is. Living our lives authentically and with integrity as followers of Jesus.
We aim for humility by always giving the glory for any success to God as we rely on His strength for all we do.
We will always be courageous and bold to proclaim who Jesus is and never being afraid to be brave in how we do so.
We want those who attend REAL to be safe and know they are safe, physically and emotionally. We also want to give safe opportunities to ask questions and have discussions.
We want to give opportunities to young and emerging leaders to use the gifts that God has given them.
MEET OUR core TEAM
Doesn't matter what your age is, everyone has something they can bring to the team.
There are all sorts of different ways you can join in - Tech roles, media, one to one's with young people, cafe teams... Come and explore your gifts with us.
REAL Summer is all about giving God space to show young people that he is REAL and that he LOVES them.
If you love that, then you'll love being on team at REAL Summer.
My standout memory was seeing all the kids running around and having fun on the water games and inflatables on the last day with friends that they had made that week.
I want to be on team again this year to see more of God’s amazing work in the children.
Seeing how the young people of last year have developed over the past 12 months is what made last year so special to me.
I've loved entering into the enthusiasm of the youngsters and having an excuse to be as crazy as they are!
